Rapper Konan has reportedly signed up for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The 36-year-old star - one half of the award-winning hip hop duo Krept + Konan - is set to be pushed to the limits in a brutal Special Air Services screening process alongside other celebrities in the ninth series of the gruelling Channel 4 show.

A source told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "Konan is a great lad and a whole new audience will get to know him."

Konan - real name Karl Wilson - could be put through his paces alongside 35-year-old The Only Way Is Essex legend, Amy Childs.

An insider told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Amy is ready to be pushed to her limit on the show. She wants to prove to herself and her children that she has what it takes.

"Amy has also been working hard with her personal trainer to be physically ready to take on the challenge."

Meanwhile, Married at First Sight 2023's Ella Morgan is reportedly set to make history as the first transgender star to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Earlier this month, a source told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "Channel 4 continues to make progressive casting choices and welcome any celebs who think they’re up for telly’s toughest challenge.

"Ella was a tough cookie before finding fame on MAFS, and a few years in the spotlight have made her more than ready to take it all on.

"But she makes no secret of loving her glam hair, make-up and nails, so fans will see a whole new side to her.

"That’s partly what appeals to Ella about SAS: Who Dares Wins and, over the years, the celebs with the glossy veneer to chip away, always have transformative experiences on the show."

Ex-Special Forces officials Billy Billingham, 60, Jason Fox, 49, Rudy Reyes, 54, and Chris Oliver will again push celebrities to their limits through a Special Air Services screening process when filming kicks off this summer, with a 2027 broadcast.

Freddy Brazier - who became a dad to Isla with his on-off girlfriend Holly Swinburn, 22, in March aged 21 - is reportedly in talks for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, seven years after his dad, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, 46, did the programme.
