Ant and Dec are launching a new crazy golf gameshow Holey Moley on ITV.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! duo are joining forces for a fresh four-part series giving crazy golf a supersized and adrenaline-fuelled twist featuring "an epic, zany, visually jaw-dropping course packed with inventive obstacles, physical challenges and laugh-out-loud jeopardy".

Ant McPartlin said: "This show is absolutely perfect for us. It's all about pure fun and entertainment for the whole family from start to finish.

"Anyone who knows us knows we are adore golf, but you don’t need to be a golf fanatic to enjoy it, there's something for everyone!"

The show will see professionals and amateurs collide, with eight players going head-to-head in each episode in a bid to win the Holey Moley golden putter, green plaid jacket and "a fantastic prize".

They'll have to step into the show's alternate universe, battling through "ambitious, larger-than-life holes"

Dec Donnelly added: "Holey Moley blends the game with huge entertaining moments that the whole family can sit down together, watch and enjoy.

"It’s epic, bold and full of laughs. We're really excited to bring the show to the UK!"

The Geordie legends will be at the helm, and there will be a whole host of famous faces along the way.

Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment, Reality and Daytime Commissioning for ITV, commented: “We couldn’t be more excited to announce a brand-new entertainment format presented by Ant and Dec.

"Holey Moley is brilliantly competitive and enormous fun, making it a compelling watch for all.”

Charlie Irwin, Managing Director for Talkback Thames, described the new show as "big", "funny" and "unapologetically entertaining".

He said: "It’s already demonstrated its strength as a global entertainment format, combining scale, humour and genuine competitive jeopardy so with Ant and Dec at the helm, it’s perfect for ITV and we’re delighted to be bringing it to UK audiences.”

And Gemma Nightingale, Head of Entertainment at Mitre Studios insisted the show "has a bit of everything".

She added: “Holey Moley is a fantastically fun format that’s perfect for the whole family. It has a bit of everything; ambition, tension, laugh-out-loud moments and of course Ant and Dec, who’ll be teeing off all the action. We can’t wait to introduce ITV viewers to the crazy world of Holey Moley."
