Casualty star Naomi Chaya Wakszlak and her partner, Dom, have welcomed their first child into the world.
Casualty star Naomi Chaya Wakszlak has given birth to her first child following a secret pregnancy.
The actress - who plays paramedic Indie Jankowski in the BBC medical drama - revealed she and her partner, Dom, welcomed their baby into the world on Sunday (05.04.26) in an adorable Instagram post.
Naomi took to the social media platform on Thursday (09.04.26) and shared shots of herself cradling and holding her baby with the caption: "05-04-26.
"Everything is different and maybe it’s better actually and I can’t wait to tell you everything kid so LISTEN UP!! (sic)"
The star did not reveal the identity of her baby - who faced away from the camera.
Naomi's Casualty co-stars congratulated her in the post's comments section.
Sammy Dobson, 39, (Dr Nicole Piper) penned: "Just the lushest ever xxx (sic)."
Kirsty Mitchell, 51, (Faith Dean) typed: "Congratulations angel face. Loads and loads of love and hugs to you all x (sic)."
And Barney Walsh, 28, (Cameron Mickelthwaite) left two red-heart emojis.
Followers of Naomi also chimed in, as one wrote: "Huge congratulations to you and Dom. Hoping I can come and have a cuddle when life calms down a bit xx (sic)."
A second supporter commented: "Oh wow what an exciting time! Lots of love to you all xx (sic)."
And a third fan said: "Huge congratulations and sending you three so much love! Xx (sic)"
Naomi joined Casualty in 2024 in a guest star role before bosses cast her as Indie, who joined the fictional Holby Ambulance Service as a paramedic, the following year.
The programme's Instagram announcement that Naomi had joined the team read: "Introducing Jan’s newest recruit … Student Paramedic, Indie!"
And viewers praised Naomi's performance in the post's comments section, as one said: "You play Indie so well. Everything you do is so amazing. Love watching you play this role. Keep up the amazing work x (sic)."
A second fan added: "I haven’t watched Casualty in years, but already have a new fave! (sic)”
