Ekin-Su Culculoglu has signed up for a new reality series - just months after describing reality TV as a "temporary direction" for her career.

The former Love Island star will appear in new YouTube show Unwell Winter Games, which will see 16 contestants compete in a series of "mental and physical challenges" over four days at a luxury chalet in Park City, Utah.

Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper's company, Unwell Network, is behind the new series, and she has enlisted The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Dakota Mortensen, Dancing With the Stars' Gleb Savchenko, WWE superstar Saraya Bevis, and former Love Island star Eyal Booker to take part, among others.

Cooper's company said in an announcement: "The show promises fierce competition, unexpected alliances and the kind of unfiltered drama that has defined Unwell across its programming slate."

This comes just four months after Ekin-Su - who has also appeared in Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Big Brother - admitted she was heading back to acting.

In December, Ekin-Su - who previously starred in a soap opera in Turkey before winning Love Island in 2022 - told her followers: "I’m stepping back into acting and focusing more on passion projects. I know many people discovered and supported me through reality TV but that was a temporary direction I took after Love Island.

"Acting has always been the bigger picture for me and something I was doing in Turkey before LI."

However, Ekin-Su did admit she would consider "certain reality appearances".

She said: "There are still certain reality appearances I’d consider if the timing is right. I’ve mentioned the jungle is one of them, but for now I’m excited to see where this new direction takes me."

When a fan asked what she has been up to recently, Ekin-Su teased she has a high-profile project in the pipeline.

She shared: "[I've had] productive meetings, laying the groundwork for the New Year with my team.

"As well as kicking off a project I can’t share just yet but will do soon. It’s different to anything I’ve done, that’s all I can hint."
