Chaka Khan is secret fan of these ITV game shows
There are two ITV game shows that Chaka Khan never misses when she is in the UK.
Chaka Khan adores watching ITV's The Chase.
The legendary singer learns a lot from the Bradley Walsh-hosted game show, which sees four contestants play against Britain's finest quiz brains - the "chasers" - who try to stop the team from winning a cash prize.
Appearing on the latest episode of the Table Manners podcast, Chaka, 73, told hosts Lennie, 74, and 41-year-old Jessie Ware: "You know what I love watching here? The Chase.
"I love stuff like that because I love to learn."
The I Feel For You hitmaker is also a big fan of ITV's Tipping Point, in which three players answer general knowledge questions to win counters that they drop into a huge coin pusher arcade-like machine to bag themselves cash and prizes.
Chaka - real name Yvette Stevens - said of the show, presented by 51-year-old Ben Shephard: "I do love the programme."
In January, Bradley, 65, admitted that he has not watched The Chase "in years" because of his jam-packed work schedule.
During a joint interview with the Radio Times, the star was asked if he and his 28-year-old son, actor Barney Walsh, watch each other's shows.
Bradley responded: "I wouldn’t imagine Barney watches The Chase, simply because of his filming schedule.
"I haven’t seen The Chase in years because I don’t finish in the studio until five o’clock. But I’m an avid fan of Casualty and have loved the series for years. I like how the team has recently made it more cinematic."
Barney added: "We finish filming around 7pm, so it’s rare I’m home in time for The Chase, but when I’ve got time off, and it’s on, I do watch. I love it."
The duo have fronted BBC's Gladiators, as well as the ITV travelogue Bradley and Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad - which has been commissioned for a seventh series.
But Bradley and Barney are not interested in becoming the new hosts of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, following the departure of Tess Daly, 56, and Claudia Winkleman, 54, in December 2025.
Bradley explained: "Here’s a potted version of my winter weekends. I come home from the studio on a Friday, have dinner and watch I’m a Celebrity.
"On Saturday, I’ll watch the football results, have dinner and a pint, watch Strictly, then I’m a Celebrity, and flip back to the BBC for Match of the Day.
"On Sunday, I get up late, watch some Columbo, then the football, followed by the Strictly results, then I’m a Celebrity, and then Match of the Day. If I was to host Strictly, it would absolutely ruin my weekend."
Barney agreed: "That is completely true. That’s Dad’s weekend, every weekend."
