Big Brother 2017 star Rebecca Jane Sutton is set to become a grandmother aged 41.

The media personality announced that her 20-year-old daughter, Paris, is pregnant with an adorable post shared to Instagram on Sunday (15.03.26).

Rebecca shared joyous shots of her and Paris with a baby scan, and their wider family with the caption: "WELCOME TO MY GRANDMA ERA…. yes… my little Parie Boo and Alfie are having a baby!

"Listen.. it’s taken a few weeks to recover from shock.. to those who know - thanks for the ENDLESS grandma jokes!! The humour is not lost on me…

"The next generation is on the way people! Couldn’t be happier (sic)."

However, Rebecca has made it clear that she will not be called grandma or nana.

In the post's comments section, one of her followers penned: "Congratulations. Its a huge shock to the system. Especially as you and I are both still 25. But you'll love being a grandma. Albeit i am a Mimi not grandma lol.

"Enjoy every second. Its magical. Welcome to the gilf club xx (sic)"

And Rebecca replied: "Brilliant… I like mimi - a bit - child will NOT be calling me nana or grandma!!!!!! (sic)"

Rebecca's other followers also reacted to the news, as another person typed: "So happy for you all!!!! She’s going to smash it xx (sic)."

And a third user commented: "Aww congratulations to you all."

Rebecca shot to fame when she did Channel 5's Big Brother in 2017, in which she struck up a relationship with Lotan Carter.

She also locked horns with Deborah Agboola when Rebecca and Lotan told Deborah's sister, Hannah Agboola, that she was "selfish" after a separate row when they argued about when their fellow housemates should eat dinner.

After 18 days on the social experiment show, Rebecca was the third contestant to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

Following the show, she was appointed deputy leader of UKIP, but the role in the political party only lasted from October 2022 to January 2024.

Before Big Brother, she founded The Lady Detective Agency, a private investigation company, and she sold it in 2018.
