Love Island star Lauren Wood has brushed off comments from her ex Harrison Solomon, by declaring she has a "happy soul".

The 26-year-old star came under fire from Harrison during the Love Island: All Stars live finale on Monday night (23.02.26), but she ignored the comments as she took to social media to congratulate "well deserved" series winners Ciaran Davies and Samie Elishi.

Lauren also wrote: "you glow differently when your soul is happy".

Her comments come after Harrison - who was dumped from the Island, alongside new partner Belle Hassan, two days before this year's final - claimed some of her recent quotes from a podcast were "untrue".

In Monday's finale, Harrison told host Maya Jama: "It’s a shame because we broke up very amicably.

"I feel a lot of things she said in the podcast were untrue.

"I feel I need to air it in private, have a conversation with her and go from there.

"It’s a shame she did that and tried to twist things."

It comes after Lauren recently called her and Harrison's break-up her "worst nightmare".

Speaking to Joe Baggs on the Not My Bagg podcast, Lauren said: "It wasn’t a case of us not liking each other. We needed to do things on our own to get back together. So we were working towards a future together. It did end on the best terms possible.

"We’ve had multiple conversations. Every time it’d come up on TikTok I’d ask him. He’d be like, ‘Loz, I promise you I’m not going on there. I wouldn’t do that to you.’ We both agreed it wouldn’t be the right thing to do, it would break either of our hearts if one of us went on there.

"When we split up that was my worst nightmare and I feel like I’m living my nightmare.

"I’ve dreaded it for so long even though I didn’t think he was going to do it. It has been a thought in my mind for a long time and now I feel like oh my God, it’s reality, he’s going in there. And that is the hurtful part."

Lauren also revealed on social media this week that she and her Love Island co-star Meg Moore are "safe" amid being in lockdown in a Mexican hotel.

She wrote on her Instagram Stories: "Thank you for all the messages regarding our safety here.

"We have no power currently and have been on lockdown since last night but we are as safe as can be"

It comes after violence erupted across Mexico following the killing of notorious drug lord El Mencho - the country's most wanted man - and 10 of his acquaintances in a military operation on Sunday (22.02.26).

Mexico has now deployed 9,500 soldiers to boost security across the country following the wave of violence.
