Roxanne Hamedi has been fired on The Apprentice.

The pharmacist from Aberdeen has become the latest contestant to be fired by Lord Sugar on the BBC show, after she failed to impress during the latest task.

After her exit was confirmed, Roxanne said: "It didn’t feel good to be fired, just because I didn’t think that I deserved to be.

"There was a lot going on that day and I feel like other people lacked accountability."

The contestants were tasked with creating a brand of bottled water during the latest episode of the show. However, Lord Sugar suggested that Roxanne was ultimately responsible for her team's poor branding.

Roxanne said: "I don’t regret being a sub-team lead, but I just feel like my time was cut short in the process."

Roxanne actually thinks Galvin should've been fired rather than her.

The TV star also believes she was used as a "scapegoat" on the show.

She said: "I feel like he did throw me under the bus because I was just an easy scapegoat."

Roxanne feels she could've argued her case more strongly in the boardroom. But the pharmacist is glad that she emerged from her time on the TV show with her integrity still intact.

Asked if she would have done anything differently, Roxanne replied: "I guess I could have fought more in the boardroom, you know, called Rajan out on his lack of input, or reminded Lord Sugar that I’d taken creative risks and didn’t hide in the background.

"But I didn’t want it to come down to begging or being the loudest or most apologetic person in the room. I stayed true to myself and that takes integrity."

The winner of this year's show will have the opportunity to go into business with Lord Sugar, as well as being awarded £250,000 of investment into their own firm.
