Helen Flanagan tells truth about rumoured David Haye 'throuple'
Helen Flanagan has broken her silence on her short-lived romance with David Haye and the "throuple" rumours.

The 35-year-old actress enjoyed a brief romance with the 45-year-old boxer, who practices polyamory - having multiple romantic and sexual relationships, with the consent of a partner or spouse - three years ago.
In her new memoir, Head and Heart, Helen - who met David on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2012, with their romance starting and ending in 2023 - said that she knew he and Sian Osbourne, 33, who are in an open relationship, do "throuples".
Despite Helen proceeding with the romance with David - which began after he invited her to join him and Sian at a boxing match at Wembley - she clarified in the book: "I’m not a prude, but I’ve never been into that – it was David I liked."
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Helen went into more detail about her romance with her ex-jungle campmate.
The Coronation Street alum elaborated: "The relationship that I had with David was just David on his own. My evenings were just spent with him, that’s what only ever happened."
Pressed on whether she was ever in a "throuple" with David and Sian, Helen firmly replied: "No, no, no, not at all."
In Helen's bombshell memoir, the soap star recalls the time she bought David a Cartier Trinity bracelet for his birthday and delivered it to his hotel.
When the Daily Mail quizzed her about this, Helen burst into tears.
She said: "Did I put that in the book? Oh, god, that actually makes me cry. I don’t know."
Amid crying, Helen questioned why she delivered the jewellery piece to David's hotel.
The devastated star said: "Sorry. It’s really hard. That is a little bit embarrassing."
Helen then questioned her actions: "Why did I do that? Because I wanted him to love me properly."
The blonde beauty said she has come out stronger following her time with David - which she brands as a "situationship" as opposed to a full relationship.
Still crying, the TV personality added: "It was such a toxic situation. Since then, I’ve learnt to love myself. To be a stronger woman."
David and Helen ended their fling in December 2023, and she sobbed whilst discussing it during her stint on E4's Celebs Go Dating in 2024.
Helen told the programme's dating agents, Anna Williamson, 44, and 37 year old Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn: "It was quite something, it’s really hard for me to talk about it. He had a girlfriend and an open relationship.
"I didn't mean to fall in love with him, but I did. We did have this amazing connection together. We were like fire together.
She added: "It was weird. I think he does love his girlfriend, but he loves me as well. It just brings me to a part of my life that was quite dark, really."
The model admitted she felt "very lonely" following her 2022 split from fiance, ex-footballer Scott Sinclair - whom, she told the Daily Mail, "resents" for "stealing a lot of my time with my children" - and it took Helen more than nine months to dip her toes back into dating again.
Also in the Celebs Go Dating episode, the star - who has daughters Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and son Charlie, four, with Scott, whom Helen noted to the Daily Mail, "will always have love for him" - quashed claims that she was in a "throuple" with David.
Crying, Helen admitted: "I was in love with the man. I wouldn't have enjoyed watching the man I was in love with having sex with another woman. That's not for me. I didn't feel nice about it at all."
She then admitted feeling "guilty" towards David's girlfriend, Sian.
Helen added: "It makes me feel really bad and really upsets me because I'm a nice girl, I don't mean to hurt people, and I felt really, really bad about it. I felt really guilty about it, but I was just really lonely.
"I found it really hard, you know? I found it really difficult, but obviously, if you sleep with someone for quite a long time, you do fall in love with them, and I was just lonely, and it just happened."
Helen is single after she and her boyfriend, former professional football player-and-coach Robbie Talbot, 46, broke up in 2025 after a year of dating.
