Olivia Attwood's parents switch off Getting Filthy Rich when show becomes 'too graphic'
Getting Filthy Rich host Olivia Attwood has confessed her parents have to switch off her ITV show, in which she explores the sex industry, when some of the footage is too "graphic".
Olivia Attwood's parents switch off her show Getting Filthy Rich when it gets too "graphic".
The former Love Island star-turned-documentary maker has filmed the fourth series of the ITV programme, but she admitted her mum and dad may not tune into every bit of the upcoming episodes - in which she takes a deep dive into the sex industry - because parts of previous seasons have proved to be "a bit too much" for them.
Speaking on ITV's This Morning, she said: "My parents are super supportive of everything I do, but I've had a few calls afterwards.
"They were like, 'Oh, we had to turn it off, it was just a bit too much.'
"It's a light watch in the sense you get the journalistic undertone, and you get the information, but it doesn't feel too heavy, and I have fun with it.
"But it's very graphic, so it's not for everyone."
Olivia admitted her professional footballer husband Bradley Dack is also a big supporter of her work, and she often brings him onto the show to bounce ideas off.
She said: "I bring him in as someone to bounce off.
"He's a good sport. He's super supportive.
"I've been dragging him onto set for my shows for a number of years now, so he's used to it.
But sometimes Gillingham footballer Brad doesn't believe what Olivia has been up to while filming the show, and it "blows his mind" when he watches the footage upon release.
This year, Olivia is hoping to spend more quality time with Brad, and admitted she wants to give him an "easier time".
She added: "Last year, we were like ships in the night work-wise, and I'd like to give him an easier time this year if I can.
"There you go, Brad. You're welcome."
