Love Island’s Zach Noble hospitalised after girlfriend’s dog bit his face
Former Love Island star Zach Noble was left needing six stitches and a tetanus shot after being bitten on the lip by his girlfriend Ava Hirons’ dog.
Love Island's Zach Noble has been hospitalised after being bitten in the face by his girlfriend's dog.
The 28-year-old personal trainer - who appeared on the ITV2 matchmaking show in 2023 - displayed the bloody injury to his lip, which required him to have six stitches and one tetanus shot, in an Instagram post on Thursday (08.01.26).
In the video, Zach and his flame, 24-year-old internet personality Ava Hirons, could be seen sitting in a hospital, and he penned over the clip: "POV: WHEN I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH HER ADHD AND THE FACT HER DOG BIT ME (sic)."
A few seconds into the video, the hunk joked to Ava: "Ever since you entered my life, things have just gone downhill, proper."
Ava - whose romance with Zach was confirmed in October 2025 after they were spotted on a walk in London - asked: "Really?" before she zoomed into his face with the camera, kissed his face, and started singing James Blunt's song, You're Beautiful."
Later, the footage cut to an image of Ava's dog lying on Zach's chest, and he wrote over the shot: "1 TETANUS SHOT. (sic)"
A photo of him in A+E with the gruesome lip injury then popped up on the screen, and captioned it: "4 HOUR WAIT (sic)."
Then a candid image taken by Ava - whose 55-year-old mum is Caroline Hirons, the skincare expert on ITV's This Morning - of the medics treating Zach appeared.
Zach typed over the picture: "6 STITCHES (sic)."
And then the clip ended with a photo of Ava's dog, captioned: "FOR THIS REALLY (sic)."
Zach captioned the post: "What a dog."
Ava wrote in the upload's comments section: "It’s true guys… I did it he should leave me fr, the eyes don’t lie (sic)."
A fan of Zach - who finished in fourth place with his 24-year-old ex-partner Molly Marsh on Love Island in 2023 - reacted to his injury in the post's comments section, saying: "Hope the dog doesn’t make an habit of it!!! (sic)"
Zach - who split from Molly in July 2025 after they rekindled their romance in May 2024 following a breakup seven months after their series of Love Island ended - replied: "Na was my fault (sic)."
