James Haskell has reportedly been asked to appear on the "next series" of Celebs Go Dating.

The former England rugby union player split from his wife, Chloe Madeley, in October 2023 after five years of marriage, and now James, 40, could get help from the E4 show's dating agents, Paul Carrick Brunson, 51, Anna Williamson, 44, and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, 37, to try to find his match.

A TV insider told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "James has been single, bar a few fleeting flings, since he broke up with Chloe, and his mates want him to get back into the dating game.

"E4 bosses have made a play for him to appear in the next series.

"They think that he’d be brilliant because he’s not only a decent name for them, he’s genuinely very funny, and they think he could charm the ladies."

The source added that James - whom Chloe blamed his busy schedule and "thriving in chaos" for tearing apart their marriage - is "open to the idea".

They added: "But nothing has been signed yet. He’s still mulling it over."

James and Chloe - who got married in front of 30 guests at All Saints' Church, Berkshire, in December 2018, eight months after he popped the question during a romantic getaway to Paris, France - recently sparked rumours that they could be growing close to each other again.

The former couple - who reportedly met through social media back in 2014, and dated for four years before they got hitched - were snapped together as they enjoyed some grub at the Angel Pub, Highgate, London, on November 23.

James - who sat next to Chloe - took to his Instagram Stories and reposted the photo, taken by Chloe's brother Jack, which showed his ex-lover blowing a kiss.

Elsewhere, James recently admitted the reality of him and Chloe co-parenting their three-year-old daughter, Bodhi.

Appearing on ITV's This Morning in November 2025 to promote his book, Reloaded – The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, in which he talks about navigating parenthood with Chloe, he said: "Chloe is an amazing mum, an amazing woman. She is so talented and smart, and brilliant at what she does.

"When you get separated, obviously, because we live our lives in the public eye in some respect, basically, you put yourself out there, and sometimes people look to you to see how you behave in those situations, and for me, when you separate, the priority always becomes the child, and your egos don't matter.

"We're able to co-parent in a way, sometimes is good, sometimes it's bad, that's what happens. But we do it constructively for our daughter.

"I think it's important to talk about it."

He added of Chloe: "She always had my back.

"She's got my back now. She's always great like that. Our daughter is amazing, and hopefully, you can keep that process, it's not always straightforward.

"But you've got to try!"

The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2019 campmate's praise for Chloe came weeks before she admitted that being a working single parent is "relentless".

In a Q+A sesison on the star's Instagram Stories on November 27, 2025, a fan asked the personal trainer - whose parents are TV presenters Richard Madeley, 69, and 77 year old Judy Finnigan: "How hard is it being a single working mum?"

Chloe replied: "Being a working parent is relentless, single or not.

"I think some parts about being a 'single' parent are easier and some are harder...

"For example, Bodhi is much better behaved when James and I are together ... but it's much easier to parent when you're doing it your way.

"There's nobody to step in and help when you're on your own, but you get a day or 2 off every week...

"It's like everything in life, pros and cons to both x (sic)."
