Leanne Amaning explains 2025 Love Island snub
Leanne Amaning has revealed why she quit Love Island: All Stars last year.
Leanne Amaning quit Love Island: All Stars in 2025 because she felt "unsure" about the show.
The 28-year-old beauty is returning to the ITV show in South Africa, and she's now revealed why she never even made it into the villa in 2025.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Leanne explained: "The timing just wasn’t making sense, because I was in holding for quite a while, so I feel like the more I was in holding the more I was beginning to be unsure.
"I think as well, I don’t know who I would have been with in there, honestly, like, if I was looking at everyone, I felt like all the couples kind of made sense at the time. ‘So I was thinking, who am I gonna get with?’
"Like, I just didn’t think there was anyone in there for me and if anyone would even like me."
Leanne insists she doesn't have any regrets about spurning the opportunity to appear on the TV show in 2025.
She said: "I’m so glad I didn’t do it. Like, respectfully to everyone on that series. I think it just makes more sense this year probably. And I was ready then, don’t get me wrong. Like, I’ve been ready for a while, but I think I’m even more ready now to to just settle down."
Leanne is hoping to find her dream man once she enters the Love Island: All Stars villa.
The reality TV star explained: "I’m just looking for someone who’s, I know it sounds like the bare minimum but that’s what I have to ask for – who is generally nice and kind and doesn’t hate my guts.
"Is that, like, too much to ask? ‘Cause I feel like men just, I don’t know, they just hate women these days. It just want someone who is nice, treats me nice, he’s respectful, and we have a vibe."
