Luisa Zissman says divorce was 'the best thing that could have happened'
TV star Luisa Zissman has revealed how she coped with her dramatic divorce.
Luisa Zissman thinks getting divorced was "the best thing that could have happened" to her.
The 38-year-old TV star - who first found fame as a contestant on The Apprentice - divorced Oliver Zissman, her husband of five years, back in 2014 after she discovered that he was cheating on her, but Luisa now sees it as a blessing in disguise.
Speaking on the LuAnna podcast, Luisa - who has Dixie, 15, with her ex-husband - shared: "I did feel really betrayed when all of that happened but what I will say is, it really was the best thing that could have happened.
"I remember going to Bills with my best friend and being like: 'He's having an affair'. He'd be lying and say he'd been with friends when he wasn't. He was taking her for weekends away."
Luisa actually discovered that her then-husband was taking his other woman on overseas trips.
Luisa initially felt betrayed, but she's now come to terms with what happened and believes she's in a much better place in her life.
The TV star - who is now married to millionaire Andrew Collins - explained: "It felt more like a punch in the gut because the business was mine and he worked in it. It's a massive betrayal.
"Our relationship wasn't perfect and I wasn't perfect. I think it's hard not to self reflect and be in that stage of 'why wasn't I worthy?' I then had this attitude, I am quite a black and white thinker and i think that's down to being neurodiverse is that I can just be like: 'oh well, that just happened. Ok bye'.
"It's not normal to be as cut throat as I am."
Luissa admits that her husband's wealth is a nice "bonus" to their relationship.
She confessed: "It's not all about that but it is a bonus. He's so kind."
