Molly Rainford open to EastEnders return
Molly Rainford left EastEnders earlier this month to pursue other projects, but she hopes the door will "still be open" for her to return in the future.
Molly Rainford hopes she can return to EastEnders in the future.
After two years on the BBC soap, the 25-year-old actress made her final appearance as Anna Knight earlier this month in scenes that saw her alter ego and boyfriend Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) leave Walford for Australia.
And Molly says the invaluable advice and skills she has gained from being on EastEnders will be used in her future projects.
The star told the latest issue of New! magazine: "I learned how to be a professional by being around so many amazing actors all day long. I want to use those skills and do something new."
However, Molly is open to making an Albert Square comeback.
She said: "What's so amazing about EastEnders is that you get to do what you love every day. I feel like I'm blessed that I was a part of it.
"Hopefully, the door's still open for me to go back. But, yeah, I just want to get out there and experience more."
In November, Molly and her 29-year-old fiance, Tyler West - who met when they took part in the 2022 series of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing - starred in the corporation's Celebrity Race Across the World.
The couple and three other celebrity duos ditched luxury for backpacks as they raced against each other on a 5,900km route from Isla Mujeres, the most eastern point of Mexico, to the Peninsula de La Guajira in Colombia on a £30 daily budget.
And one of the actress' biggest takeaways from doing Celebrity Race Across the World is having newfound confidence.
Molly is quoted by BBC News as saying: "Talking to strangers, asking people for help - those are things you just don't do anymore, but the race forces you into it.
"It's given me so much more confidence that now I'm thinking, 'What have I got to lose?'"
Speaking about the impact the show has had on her and Tyler's relationship, she added: "It proved to us we can get through anything together."
