Danny Jones has I’m A Celebrity... jungle sounds as an alarm
Danny Jones has revealed he still uses the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle soundscape as his morning alarm, years after the buzzing crickets and croaking frogs helped him sleep during his 2024 winning stint.
Danny Jones has the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle noises as his alarm.
The sound of buzzing crickets, croaking frogs and squawking birds helped the McFly vocalist-and-guitarist sleep in camp when he took part - and won - the ITV1 show in 2024.
Danny, 39, was on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's Instagram Live Q+A session - nicknamed Jungle Club - after he starred on the December 3 episode of the ITV2 spin-off show, I'm A Celebrity...Unpacked!.
Ant, 50, asked the musician how he felt returning to the jungle, based in Dungay, New South Wales, Australia, to which Danny replied: "It's awesome. It's so good. It's a little bit scary seeing you two because you trigger me now. In this environment, I'm thinking, 'What's going on?' But it's lovely to be back.'"
Dec, 50, asked if the "sounds and the smells bring back memories" of Danny's time in camp, to which the All About You hitmaker replied: "Still to this day, I've got the jungle sound as my alarm because I used to have to sleep with these sounds on to get me to sleep, so it's nice to hear it again.
"But now it freaks me out because I think I need to wake up, because it's my alarm."
On Sunday (07.12.25), Twitch streamer Angryginge - real name Morgan Burtwistle - became the first social media star to be crowned King of the Jungle.
Moments after Ant and Dec announced him as this year's winner, Angryginge - known for creating football-related content for his millions of fans and having fiery online rants - told the duo: "I don’t think I can swear, but I feel amazing.
“Honestly, a dream come true. I didn’t think I could go all this way, never mind win. Thank you to everyone who voted.”
Angryginge, 24, admitted the experience was tougher than he expected.
He added: "Nobody warned me … No one said it was going to be that hard. I’m so glad I done it though."
Admitting he contemplated giving up several times, he went on: “That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and was a real mental test.
"There were so many times I wanted to throw the towel in."
Celebs Go Dating's Tom Read Wilson, 39, finished as runner-up, and former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, 34, claimed third place.
