BAFTA-winning actress Sophie Willan gives birth to baby boy
Sophie Willan took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday (30.11.25) to announce the arrival of her and partner Carniel Francis Levy's first child together.
Sophie Willan has welcomed a baby boy into the world.
The 38-year-old actress took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday (30.11.25) to share the happy news of Elijah's arrival.
Photo one saw the Alma's Not Normal star in a hospital bed as she held him to her chest. In this upload, Sophie announced the tot's name.
And in the second story photo, Sophie's partner, chef Carniel Francis Levy, stood beside the hospital bed as he touched her hand as she cuddled Elijah - who donned a cute blue hat - whilst in bed after Sophie gave birth.
The BAFTA winner captioned the family photo with a string of red-heart emojis.
In May, Sophie announced that she and Carniel were expecting their first child together on Instagram.
She uploaded a photo of the pair flashing smiles as they sat at a restaurant table for dinner.
The shot gave no sign of the pregnancy announcement, but it was made clear in the caption, and in subsequent images in the photo carousel.
The narrator of the now-shelved Channel 4 reality TV show The Circle, penned: "Plot twist … WE’RE HAVING A BABY BOY!
"Our lives are about to change forever, in the most chaotic, joyful, and magical way … And yes, we’re already arguing about baby names."
As well as the dinner photo, Sophie shared an image and video of her ultrasound.
Since her pregnancy announcement - which came days after she bagged the Best Scripted Comedy gong for Alma's Not Normal at the BAFTAs in May - Sophie kept her fans updated with her pregnancy journey.
In August, she stripped naked and showed off her growing bump - whilst she clutched her breasts - in a mirror selfie posted on her Instagram Stories.
And last month, the Never Mind the Buzzcocks star gave her Instagram fans an insight into how she was preparing for Elijah's arrival.
This included Sophie "foraging" the kitchen for biscuits whilst dressed in her dark pink pyjamas.
She told fellow comedienne Kate Lucas - who filmed her: "You’ve got to get your kicks where you can, and all I’ve got left are chocolate hob nobs!”
In a separate post on the social media platform, Sophie showed off her bump as she held onto a smoothie.
The Ludwig actress - whose red hair grew bigger throughout her pregnancy - captioned the post with: "Here I am, embodying the natural radiance and beauty of pregnancy in the final days."
