This Morning star Cat Deeley likes ageing
This Morning's Cat Deeley is not worried about getting older, and she thinks people should embrace ageing.
Cat Deeley has no fears about ageing.
The This Morning presenter feels comfortable in her skin, and she thinks people should celebrate how they look.
Cat, 49, told the new issue of HELLO! magazine: "I like the term 'positive ageing'.
"Getting older is a privilege, and I really like the person I am - and the one I'm becoming. I feel comfortable in my own skin; I like the way my face looks and don't want to look any different, just the best version of me.
"Individuality should be celebrated. I love that there's only one me and one you. I know what suits me, and I have a healthy body that lets me enjoy life and chase after my two boys [Milo and James].
"For me, the best version of myself is simply the healthiest one."
Cat - who split from her 54-year-old husband, TV presenter Patrick Kielty in July - added: "I definitely look after my skin more than I used to."
And the star achieves her soft, radiant skin by being healthy.
Cat said: "Great skin starts with a healthy diet and lots of water. I also take vitamins, collagen and NAD [nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide]."
And the TV presenter also does yoga - which makes Cat feel her best.
She added: "I try to move every day - just 30 minutes of online yoga makes me feel so much better and gives me time to breathe, relax and stretch."
Elsewhere, Cat chipped her tooth during the Bonfire Night-inspired cooking segment in the November 5 episode of ITV's This Morning - and it left her magazine show co-host Ben Shephard, 50, in fits of laughter.
It came after the duo munched on toffee apples, created by chef Elliott Grover, who also showed them some of the toppings he had, including maple bacon and popping candy.
Elliott said the sweet treats were soft enough not to damage Ben and Cat's teeth, but warned them to take care when biting into the coating.
However, Cat took a big bite, and she immediately paused before the star, with concern, felt the front of her gnashers with her tongue.
Ben asked a worried-looking Cat: "Has that tooth gone a little bit wobbly?" Before reassuring her: "It’s alright, the tooth fairy will come!"
The presenters spoke to Kaye Adams, 62, in the Loose Women studio during a link, and Cat confirmed she had damaged her tooth, exclaiming: "'I’ve chipped my tooth!"
Laughing Ben quipped: "The good news is, Bob Mortimer left us his dentist’s number so we can get you a set of dentures."
Cat replied: "Oh my lord."
