Love Island star Sam Gowland has been left "absolutely devastated" after two of his beloved dogs died and his £140,000 car was stolen in the same week.

The reality TV star, 30 - who shot to fame on the third series of the ITV2 dating show in 2017 - took to social media to share some rare personal news, and inform his near-one million followers that his three-year-old pooch Enzo had died "suddenly".

He wrote: "It's very rare I share personal news to my socials + I've debated weather to share anything for the last few days after a horrendous week.

"My poor little boy enzo suddenly passed away at only 3 years old the other day, no words can describe the pain you feel, I'm just so glad he got to bless the life of so many people, the most perfect little dog. (sic)"

Sam also told how his canine Ivy - who he shared with his ex-girlfriend and fellow Geordie Shore co-star Chloe Ferry - died in the same week.

He posted: "And again, I didn't know weather to post this also as I really don't like sharing personal news to socials.

"But as you will already be aware my first ever dog ivy also sadly passed away last week too which again is absolutely devastating as she played such a big part of my life personally and others also. (sic)"

While Sam admitted it was the "worst week", he was trying to stay positive by thinking about happy memories he had with his pet pooches.

He added: "The worst week but memories for a lifetime for both my little dogs. (sic)"

While Sam's week was going badly enough, it got even worse when his £143,000 Mercedes-AMG G 63 motor was stolen.

He added: "And just for the final kick in the teeth my G63 was stole last week, tracker has been cut out and by all accounts has been chopped into pieces to sell as parts on alibaba of all places (sic)"
