Lorraine Kelly's daughter Rosie Smith was worried that her baby girl, Billie, would not love her.

The 31-year-old freelance writer and her fiance Steve White welcomed their 14-month-old baby girl Billie in August 2024.
Esteemed broadcaster Lorraine, 65, asked Rosie on the latest episode of their What If? podcast: "What do you think has been the best thing about being a mammy? What's been the thing that you were quite surprised by?"
Rosie admitted: "God, probably how much she likes me. I was really worried that she wouldn't like me."
Lorraine emphasised to her and husband Steve Smith's only child: "She loves you!"
Rosie replied: "I know, but she doesn't want you at first sight.
"She gives me kisses and cuddles and stuff. She doesn't really do that with other people."
Lorraine agreed: "No, she doesn't."
Rosie pointed out: "Apart from her Minnie Mouse toy, now that she's obsessed with it."
Lorraine said: "She loves Minnie Mouse."
Billie's alertness surprised Rosie - who gave birth to her and her partner's bundle of joy at University College Hospital, London.
Rosie explained: "I'm so used to her being like a newborn and not really doing much.
"And then when they start doing stuff, you're like, 'Oh.'"
Lorraine then said: "And they are curious about everything, about absolutely everything.
"Everything is an adventure."
After Rosie revealed that Billie does not like couscous and quinoa, Lorraine praised her daughter for making her granddaughter's meals from scratch.
Lorraine said: "What you're good at is you make all her food from scratch. You cook it all."
However, Rosie responded: "Well, I was able to do that because she wasn't moving around, and now she's moving around, I'm not really able to cook for her that much. As much as I used to.
"I'm batch cooking now a lot more."
Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Lorraine revealed she and her husband Steve moved house to be closer to Rosie, her fiance and Billie.
The TV presenter shared: "We've moved house. Well, we sort of moved."
Rosie chimed in: "A six-minute walk away from me."
Lorraine continued: "Yes, that was the only reason that I agreed to move in a way. And you're a fantastic mother.
"You've taken to it so, so well. She's so well looked after. She's so happy!"
