Paul Carrick Brunson says Celebs Go Dating has "changed" the course of his family's life.

The 51-year-old star - who has sons Kingston, 14, and Liam, 11, with his wife Jill - is so glad he agreed to be a dating agent on the hit E4 show, which has been running since 2016.

Asked what advice he would give to his teenage self, Paul told the September 27-October 3 issue of Heat magazine: "It's so important to say yes.

"Saying yes to Celebs Go Dating has most likely changed the trajectory of my entire family.

"My boys have now spent over half their lives in the UK. They identify as British and will most likely stay and have families here, all because of that one little decision."

However, Paul thinks Kingston and Liam will still hold on to their American accents.

He said: "I believe they dearly hold on to their American accents because it gives them more 'cool' points."

Elsewhere in his magazine interview, Paul revealed he has given Liam some dating tips.

He shared: "I give my 11 year old tips all the time.

"The best advice you can give to your child is to know they will be what they see.

"If you're saying it's important to be kind, well, are you kind yourself?

"They watch you like a hawk."

Paul says his and Jill's bundles of joy are popular with girls.

He revealed: "All I know is my eldest doesn't have a girlfriend, but he has many friends who are girls.

"As for my youngest, he went to his first dance and came back not with one phone number, but eight!"

Paul, Anna Williamson, 44, and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, 37, are dating agents on Celebs Go Dating, and their role is to help single celebrities, who are taking part in the show, find their perfect match.

And Paul - who also serves as a relationship expert on E4's Married at First Sight UK - says it is a good feeling when couples find love.

He admitted: "You always want that.

"But it's also when the couples find self-love and decide to leave, or they find the confidence to speak for themselves because they realise they deserve more.

"They're equally great wins."
