Modern Family Star Eric Stonestreet Announces Marriage

Eric Stonestreet, best known for playing Cameron Tucker on the hit sitcom Modern Family, has married his longtime partner Lindsay Schweitzer. The announcement came on 9 September, which also marked his 54th birthday.

The couple first met in June 2016 at a charity event in Kansas City, where both are from. Schweitzer works as a paediatric nurse. They became engaged in 2021, with Stonestreet sharing the news at the time on social media.

Earlier this year, Stonestreet revealed that they had been building their dream home in Kansas City, with the intention of hosting their wedding there once construction was complete.

The actor, who won two Primetime Emmy Awards for his role in Modern Family, had previously spoken warmly about Schweitzer, describing her as supportive and steady, often crediting her with helping him navigate fame and life away from the screen.
