Sir Christopher Lee’s ‘Dracula’ posters are set to sell for big money at a special auction of vintage horror film artwork.

Horror movie posters are striking Ewbank’s Auctions, in Surrey, this Halloween – with the flick 'Dracula A.D. 1972' set to receive the bloodiest bids from fans of classic macabre.

A 30x40inch British Quad poster designed by leading poster artist Tom Chantrell will be going under the hammer and is expected to fetch a price ranging between £900 and £1,200.

Another poster from Lee's 1970 flick 'Taste the Blood of Dracula' is also set to sell for between £600 and £1,200.

Away from his famous portrayal of Dracula, a poster from the late actor's 1973 picture 'The Wicker Man' is also set to spook at the auctioneers.

A 40x27inch British One Sheet displaying the film's climax is expected to sell for £200 to £300.

However, it is not all frightful at the auction house as another British Quad designed by Chantrell for the hilarious 1966 comedy horror classic ‘Carry on Screaming!’ promises to bring in the bidders with an expected price ranging from £800 to £1,100.

Other movies that will have artwork featured at the October 31 auction include 1984's ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’, 1962’s ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, 1958’s ‘The Blob’, 2004’s ‘Shaun of the Dead’, 1990’s ‘I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle', 1980's ‘The Fog’, 1979's ‘A Man a Woman and a Bank' and 1977’s ‘Eraserhead’.
