'I just hope that she's OK': NSYNC star Chris Kirkpatrick is willing to support Britney Spears
NSYNC star Chris Kirkpatrick has offered his support to Britney Spears as she adjusts to life without her conservatorship, even though they have drifted apart in recent years.
Chris Kirkpatrick has offered his support to Britney Spears.
The NSYNC singer was close to Britney as they dominated the music scene over two decades ago and is still willing to help the 'Toxic' hitmaker amid concerns for her welfare since the termination of her conservatorship in 2021.
Chris told Fox News Digital: "I haven't been close to her. If she ever needed to talk to anyone or anything, you know, I'm here."
The 52-year-old star continued: "Other than that, it is what it is. Everybody deals with things in their own way.
"And, you know, I just hope that she's OK and everything's all right because for a while, it was like, 'Hey, free Britney, get her out of this conservatorship.' And she gets out of it.
"And then, you know, she posts some crazy stuff, but it is what it is. And it's her life. And it's not my business to get involved with it."
Chris – whose NSYNC bandmate Justin Timberlake dated Britney between 1999 and 2002 – also recalled how he dressed up as the 'Oops!... I Did It Again' singer during filming for one of her tours.
He said: "I filmed something for one of the tours that she did. I dressed in drag and acted like her hairstylist or something... or no, I think I pretended to be her.
"And when I turned around, and it was me, I'm sure (I) got a lot of gasps on that one because I'm not a very attractive woman."
