Taylor Swift jokes about falling pregnant with a bad boy's baby in her song 'But Daddy I Love Him'.

The 34-year-old pop superstar released her 11th studio record ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ on Friday (19.04.24) and fans are already pouring over the lyrics which the singer has used to dissect previous relationships including her six-year romance with actor Joe Alwyn and brief fling with The 1975's Matty Healy.

She appears to reflect on her dalliance with controversial rocker Healy and take aim at her critics, singing: "Sarahs and Hannahs in their Sunday best

Clutchin' their pearls sighing 'What a mess'" before adding: "They slammed the door on my whole world / The one thing I wanted."

She goes on to joke about a pregnancy, singing: "Now I'm running with my dress unbuttoned / Scrеaming 'But, daddy, I love him I'm having his baby' / No, I'm not, but you should see your faces / I'm telling him to floor it through thе fences / No, I'm not coming to my senses / I know it's crazy / But he's the one I want."

She goes on to hint about an intervention, crooning: "Soon enough the elders had convened down at the city hall /'Stay away from her', the saboteurs / Protested too much."

Taylor then declares: "I'll tell you something right now / I'd rather burn my whole life down / Than listen to one more second of all this bitchin' and moanin'/ I'll tell you something 'bout my good name / It's mine alone to disgrace."

She then hinted at a reunion, singing: "Scandal does funny things to pride but brings lovers closer / We came back when the heat died down ...

"And no, you can't come to the wedding / I know it's crazy, but he's the one I love / I'll tell you something right now / You ain't gotta pray for me / Me and my wild boy, and all of this wild joy / (It was chaos, it was revelry) / It's all you want is grey for me / Then it's just white noise, it's my choice."

Taylor and Matty are believed to have had a brief fling which ended before she went on to strike up a romance with football star Travis Kelce.

Matty previously opened up about the romance, admitting dating the singer felt "emasculating".

He told Q magazine: "She wasn’t a big impact on my life. It’s just interesting to me how interested the world is about Taylor Swift.

"The reason I mention that is because if I had [properly] gone out with Taylor Swift, I would’ve been ... 'I am not being Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.’ You know ...

"That’s also a man thing, a demasculinating [sic], emasculating thing."
