Madonna counts down to 'naughty' Rio concert with new Instagram snaps
Madonna has vowed that "Safada is coming to Rio" as she prepares for the free gig on Copacabana Beach next month that will bring her 'Celebration Tour' to a close.
Madonna has teased her 'naughty' upcoming concert in Rio de Janeiro with a series of Instagram snaps.
The Queen of Pop will bring her 'Celebration Tour' to a close with a free concert on Copacabana Beach in Brazil next month and has given fans a glimpse of what to expect on the social media site with a cheeky caption.
The posts - which show Madonna wearing a black outfit and plenty of pearls - are captioned: "Safada is coming to Rio."
The photos were taken from behind-the-scenes during filming for her Itau commercial that was shot in Paris last year.
A press release said that the Rio gig will be “free of charge as a thank you to her fans for celebration more than four decades of her music over the course of the epic global run of the tour".
The show - which will be broadcast on the Brazil's TV Globo - will be the 'Vogue' hitmaker's first concert in the South American country since 2012.
There are no tickets required for the event, which will take place in front of the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel, and entry will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.
The retrospective tour looks back at Madonna's four-decade career in the music business and began at London's O2 Arena last October after it was initially postponed when she was hospitalised with a "serious bacterial infection" last summer.
During the two-hour set, the music icon opened up about her road back to the stage after her serious health scare.
Referring to her children Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 23, David, 18, Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11, the singer told fans: "I didn’t think I was gonna make it. Neither did my doctors. That’s why I woke up with all of my children sitting around me."
The 65-year-old singer added: "But the angels were protecting me, and my children were there. And my children always save me every time."
