Sarah Jayne Dunn says trolls call her out for having an OnlyFans account because she is a mother.

The 42-year-old actress was axed from her role as Mandy Richardson on the Channel 4 soap 'Hollyoaks' back in November 2021 when they issued her with an ultimatum; close your account and keep your job or carry on posting racy content to your subscribers and be fired.

Sarah chose to stay on OnlyFans and walk away from a character that she had played on-and-off since 1996.

The blonde beauty insists the majority of feedback she has had from people on her other social media accounts has been "really positive" but she has been attacked other women for choosing to show off her body online even though she has a son with her husband of six years, Jonathan Smith.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous for Shamed, a new YouTube series which explores the effects of trolling on six famous women, she said: "One of the comments that came up the most was ‘she’s a mother’. I think a lot of this plays into what we've been conditioned to feel about being a woman.

“I tick a few boxes now: I'm a woman, I'm a mother and I'm over 40. I cannot be sexy because I'm a mother and I'm over 40. How dare I?

“How dare I expose my body? How dare I do that and be okay with that? How dare my family accept that? How dare my husband be all right with it.

“It’s what we've been told that we can't do. The fact I am standing up and doing it and I am enjoying it and I am successful with it, I think it just annoys people.”

Sarah insists her OnlyFans content is the same as the lingerie shoots she used to do for lads' mags back in the late '90s and early 2000s, and the 'Hollyoaks' calendars that she and her co-stars would pose for.

The TV star - who earned a reputed £700,000 in the year after being axed from her £120,000 acting job -

She explained: "There's tons of content on the platform of different genres. Of course there is explicit content. That is why it is protected.

"People assume that OnlyFans is just porn, but it's not not, my content isn't explicit.

"Trolls told me that I’ll regret it but I'm over two years down the line with OnlyFans now and I have zero regrets.

“Actually, that’s wrong, I do have one regret: I wish I'd started it sooner!”
