'Married at First Sight' star Hayley Vernon warned future contestants against joining OnlyFans.

The 35-year-old reality star has turned to making a living by selling racy photos of herself on the adults-only platform since taking part in the Australian series in 2020 but has admitted that her earnings have now dropped and she knows some girls who have either been forced to get a second job or create content they are not necessarily comfortable with.

She told Yahoo Lifestyle: "The market is so oversaturated now and everyone’s earnings have reduced significantly. That’s just the reality of it. A lot of girls are now having to get second jobs or do content they first said they wouldn’t do."

Hayley added that she would like any new contestants of the dating show to "be realistic" about their prospects and realise that joining OnlyFans should not be viewed as a get-rich-quick scheme because wealth doesn't come overnight.

A second 'Married at First Sight' contestant - who chose to remain anonymous for fear of seeming "ungrateful" to her followers - expressed her regret at joining the platform at all because she is now no longer employable in any ordinary job.

She said: "The money was great at the start but it wasn’t enough to change my life and now I can’t get a real job. I wish I never did it."

Despite, this, their fellow 'MAFS' star Bronte Schofield was able to make quarter of a million dollars in her first month on the site.

Speaking on the 'Behind the Edit' podcast, she said: "The money is freaking great. My first month, my account did $250,000, it was insanity and I was hardly even posting on there."
