Rachel Dolezal has lost her job at a school over her OnlyFans page.

The educator - who legally changed her name to Nkechi Diallo in 2016 - is best known for being caught up in a headline-grabbing row over her racial identity in 2015 after she spent years identifying as Black before it was revealed she is white with European heritage. She had been working at an elementary school in Arizona since August 2023, but has now been ousted after school bosses were made aware of her raunchy side project.

According to News4Tucson, Julie Farbarik, the district’s director of alumni and community relations explained OnlyFans posts are "contrary to our district’s Use of Social Media by District Employees policy and our staff ethics policy".

She added: "We only learned of Ms Nkechi Diallo’s OnlyFans social media posts yesterday afternoon. She is no longer employed by the Catalina Foothills school district."

Despite changing her name, the saucy star still promotes her OnlyFans work on her Instagram page using Rachel Dolezal since joining the X-rated platform back in 2021.

She hit headlines back in 2015 when her white parents - Ruthanne and Larry Dolezal - spoke publicly about her race and background. Dolezal resigned from her post heading the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and was dismissed from her role teaching African studies at Eastern Washington University.

She is believed to have started her OnlyFans page after struggling to find work in the aftermath of the furore.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Dolezal insisted she didn't intend to mislead anyone over her race and still considers herself to be "Black".

She explained: “If people feel misled or deceived, then sorry that they feel that way, but I believe that’s more due to their definition and construct of race in their own minds than it is to my integrity or honesty, because I wouldn’t say I’m African American, but I would say I’m Black, and there’s a difference in those terms."

She changed her name in a bid to shake off the scandal, telling the 'Today' show: "I really felt like I needed to change my legal name in order to be seen for my qualifications and experience rather than just seen for the tabloid publicity that I got in 2015.

"When applying for a job, people were just seeing ‘Rachel Dolezal’ and not paying attention to the wide-ranging experience and qualifications that I do have."
