Bhad Bhabie was "broke as f***" before making millions on OnlyFans.
The 20-year-old rapper - whose real name is Danielle Bregoli - became a viral hit after appearing on the Dr Phil show with her catchphrase: “Cash me outside, how ’bout that?” but she has now revealed she didn't make much money from her music and was struggling to make ends meet before launching her X-rated career.
During an appearance on Emily Ratajkowski’s ‘High Low’ podcast, she explained: "I wasn’t really thinking much of it at the time, but I was actually broke as f*** before I started OnlyFans.
"My mom was in control of my money, so she was doing whatever she wanted to do, and I had a $500 limit on my card."
Bhabie added that she "barely saw any money from music" and saw OnlyFans as the "light at the end of the tunnel."
Her earnings for 2021 are estimated at around $51 million, with Forbes reporting most of it came from OnlyFans and she added of her earnings: "It just kept coming and coming, I was just like, ‘s***'."
The rapper is thought to have raked in more than $1 million from the platform in her first six hours alone. But she warned on supermodel Emily’s podcast: “It doesn’t go like that for everybody. I’ve had people come up to me and say, ‘I’m just going to do it like you do it.’ “And I’m like, ‘Ahhh no’ – it’s situational."
When mum-of-one Emily, 31, asked Bhad how her mum felt about her joining the adult website, she declared she “doesn’t care” – adding: “That lady love money. She don’t care where it comes from.”
