OnlyFans star Meghan O’Neill wants to "prove" to others that other mothers can be whoever they want to be.
The 31-year-old content creator and mum-of-two earns thousands of pounds every month by selling her raunchy snaps online and insisted that she has found the "freedom to express" herself with the adults-only platform.
She told SundayLife: "I am a massive feminist and I wanted to prove that you can still be who you want to be when you’re a mum. I’m just being authentic to myself, I mean, I’m running about Ballycastle with dreadlocks! I think people respect you more when you’re real. I love doing OnlyFans, it gives me the freedom to express myself, I’m a very sexual person and was a glamour model in my teens so it’s part of me. OnlyFans is only controversial because female sexuality has always been shunned and oppressed, well I’ve decided I’m going to use this system which has oppressed women and capitalise on it for my benefit."
Meghan - who goes by the name Skye Fox on OnlyFans - went on to add that she finds it so "empowering" to have achieved financial independence through her online career and plans to buy her parents' retirement as soon as she possibly can.
She said: "We’ll say thousands a month, not hundreds of thousands, but let’s say £10,000 a month, roughly. I’m completely financially independent and it’s incredibly empowering because I’m a working-class person, I don’t come from money. I grew up on a council estate and we lived from one month to the next, now I can afford to take my kids anywhere in the world and get them anything they want. I’m not really materialistic, it just gives me complete independence.
“I left a really awful relationship and didn’t have a penny to my name, I couldn’t afford things my daughter needed and had to rely on family for help.
“To go from that to where I am now in such a short time is absolutely incredible. I’m on my own with two kids and have been on my own from the beginning so to be able to provide for my children in this way is incredible, it’s amazing.
“I plan to retire my parents as soon as I can, that’s what matters to me, it’s not about flashing money."
