The 48-year-old actress - who portrays a junior lawyer in new web series 'The Trial' - has worked with the Bollywood legend a number of times over the years and thinks his "smooth talking" and charm would be able to get her out of any sticky situation.
Asked to name a Bollywood actor she thinks could defend her best, she told Bollywood Bubble: “Shah Rukh . Hands-down I will choose Shah Rukh. He is the smoothest talker ever...
"He will stand there and he will talk me out of anything that I’ve gotten myself into. So, definitely hands-down Shah Rukh.”
Kajol is thankful for the support of her husband Ajay Devgn - with whom she has children Nysa, 20, and Yug, 12 - and they always discuss professional hurdles with one another, so she doesn't think there's anything they "cannot handle together".
Discussing the importance of a supportive partner, she said: “Definitely, no two ways about it. It works both ways.
“We definitely talk about [work issues]. But fortunately for both of us, we don’t really let it get to us, to a point where we require deep emotional support from it.
"Also, I think that pretty much we are those kinds of people who talk things through and we have a solution.
"There is nothing really that big that we cannot handle together.”
