Sushant Singh Rajput remembered by co-star on anniversary of his death
Sara Ali Khan has paid a touching tribute to her Bollywood co-star.
Sushant Singh Rajput has been remembered by his 'Kedarnath' co-star Sara Ali Khan on the anniversary of his death.
The Bollywood star was tragically found dead on June 14, 2020, at his home in Bandra, Mumbai, aged just 34.
He and Sara, 27, built a close bond while working on the film, which was her big Bollywood debut.
Alongside some behind-the-scenes photographs from their time on set, Sara wrote on Instagram: "On our way to Kedarnath for the first time. On my way to shoot for the first time. And I know neither are ever going to feel the same again. But somewhere between action, cut, sunrise, rivers, clouds, moonlight, Kedarnath and Allah Hoo I know you’re there. Keep shining amongst your stars. From Kedarnath to Andromeda."
The 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic disaster film was written and directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
The flick is about an "inter-faith love story between a wealthy Hindu Brahmin girl (Sara) whose family owns a lodge and shops near the historic Kedarnath Temple in the Uttarakhand mountains and a Muslim boy (Sushant) who is a 'pithoo' (porter) working in the same vicinity."
