Despite planning to launch her own this summer, Katie Price confessed she’s never listened to a podcast – on ‘The Podcast Show’.
Katie Price confessed she’s never listened to a podcast as she talked about preparing launched her own.
The ex-glamour girl, 45, has announced she is putting out ‘The Katie Price Show’ this summer, but made the admission she hasn’t followed the format at all during an appearance on ‘The Podcast Show’.
When asked by journalist Mary Mandefield which podcasts she was enjoying in before the launch, mum-of-five Katie admitted: “You’ll hate me for this. I have never listened to a podcast in my life.
“I actually haven’t. I wouldn’t know how to download it.”
And when asked if she would listen to her podcast, Katie added: “No, I’m just going to know what I’m going to say.”
Members of the audience were heard roaring with laughter during the recording of the interview, but fans later mocked Katie for her response.
One said her remarks were a “kick in the teeth” for people who work hard on podcast creation, while another accused her of jumping on the “bandwagon” of the format.
But others supported her, with some calling her responses “iconic”.
Ahead of the podcast launch, Katie is preparing to celebrate her eldest son Harvey’s 21st birthday on Saturday (27.05.23) and undertaking community service at a charity shop.
She was ordered to carry out 170 hours of work and handed an 18-month community order after last year pleading guilty to breaching a restraining order.
Her other children Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, who she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre, 50, are venturing into the entertainment business.
Junior has launched a music career, while Princess signed a contract with PrettyLittleThing which sees her modelling for the brand on her Instagram.
