Pamela Anderson gained 25 pounds writing her memoir.
The former 'Baywatch’ star piled on the pounds when she penned her autobiography ‘Love, Pamela’ as she ate to provide herself with a "puffy suit of armour" as she re-lived the defining moments of her life, both good and bad.
Speaking to Howards Stern on his radio show, the 55-year-old actress said: "It was crazy, but I had a physical reaction to telling my story. It was almost like I was hanging on to something — It was protective… my puffy suit of armor.
“I don’t know what it was — I was thinking it was some kind of protection.”
The former Playboy Playmate also admitted to feeling “run over” in the wake of the release of the Hulu series 'Pam and Tommy' - which centred on the theft and publication of her and her ex-husband Tommy Lee’s homemade sex tape - starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan as her and the Motley Crue drummer.
Pamela - who has sons Brandon Thomas, 26, and Dylan Jagger, 25, with the 60-year-old rocker - said: “I felt kinda run over by that one. I don't think they portrayed Tommy or I very accurately. I haven't seen it but I've heard from people that it's a very shallow representation of us. I wish they would've called.
“I remember seeing this advert for Pam and Tommy and was like, 'What? No one called me, I'm still alive, no one asked me, it's nothing to do with me.'"
