Jeremy Strong is in talks to join the cast of the Bruce Springsteen biopic 'Deliver Me From Nowhere'.
The 'Succession' actor is set to portray the 'Born to Run' musician's long-time manager Jon Landau in the new movie that will feature Jeremy Allen White as the Boss.
Scott Cooper is directing the 20th Century Studios film and is adapting the screenplay from Warren Zarnes' 2023 book of the same name that tells the story of how Springsteen's 1982 album 'Nebraska' was made.
'Nebraska' was the rocker's sixth studio album and is one of his most acclaimed records. The songs focused on blue-collar narratives and featured Bruce performing all the instrumentals alone.
It was ranked at 150 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2020.
20th Century Studios chief David Greenbaum said after confirmation of the biopic earlier this year: "It is a once-in-a-lifetime honour to be collaborating with Bruce Springsteen, an inspiring and incomparable artist who represents so much to so many.
"The deep authenticity of his story is in great hands with my friend Scott Cooper whom I am thrilled to be collaborating with once again."
Jeremy's method acting to portray the tortured Kendall Roy in 'Succession' irked his co-star Brian Cox – who played the sweary media mogul Logan Roy - but the star says that his straight-talking colleague has earned the right to say what he thinks about his performance techniques.
The 45-year-old actor told British GQ last year: "Everyone’s entitled to have their feelings. I also think Brian Cox, for example, he’s earned the right to say whatever the f*** he wants.
"There was no need to address that or do damage control… I feel a lot of love for my siblings and my father on the show.
"And it’s like a family in the sense that, and I’m sure they would say this, too, you don’t always like the people that you love. I do always respect them."
