Freya Skye finds it "incredibly surreal" to be the new face of Hollister.

The 16-year-old singer is fronting the brand's autumn denim campaign, and not only are the company sponsoring her upcoming UK, Europe and North American tour dates, they will be hosting exclusive in-store appearances and launching limited-edition products as part of the partnership.

Freya told WWD: “Hollister has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and it’s always felt like a brand everyone connects to. I grew up with Hollister, so being able to partner together now feels incredibly surreal.

“Hollister’s laid-back, versatile style really reflects how I live, always moving between everyday moments and being on stage, which is why I love their denim. For me, the perfect pair of jeans is something I can wear all day, no matter the occasion. I love how this collection lets you style pieces your own way while feeling comfortable and confident — it’s made for every moment.”

The campaign - which will feature across digital, social and in-store channels - features exclusive content and behind-the-scenes moments inspired by Freya's music.

Carey Collins Krug, chief marketing officer for Abercrombie + Fitch Co., parent of Hollister, said: "“Denim has always been a staple of self-expression, and this Hollister collection reflects the personal style and individuality we see in our customers.

“Music is central to how our customers express themselves, and Freya’s authenticity, creativity and energy make her a natural partner for this campaign.”

The new denim collection is available in Hollister stores and online.

Earlier this year, Freya admitted she suffered "impostor syndrome" while performing on the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, Zara Larsson and Olivia Dean, and Freya admits that she initially felt a little uncomfortable amid the star-studded line-up.

She told Billboard: "I felt a lot of impostor syndrome [being] surrounded by these established artists that I’m inspired by."

However, the Silent Treatment singer's nerves melted away when she took to the stage for the first time.

She said: “I started singing the first chorus, and people knew the words. I was so taken aback. I was like, ‘The song’s been out for three days!"

The teenage star admits that she still has a lot of work ahead of her, despite her recent success.

She said: "It’s one of my favourite things when I see someone saying, ‘Who is she?’ It excites me. I’m like, ‘There’s so many more people I have the opportunity to reach and find.’ Maybe it’s meant as an insult, but I find it quite thrilling."
