Miley Cyrus only wears 'very modest bathing suits'
Pop star Miley Cyrus only wears "very modest bathing suits" because she's haunted by Internet trolling over raunchy outfits she's previously worn on stage.

Miley Cyrus only wears "very modest bathing suits".
The 32-year-old pop star has admitted she's still haunted by memes which appeared online after her raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2013 and the crisis of confidence prompted her to change her look and tone down her swimwear choices - even when she's on private holidays.
During an appearance on the 'Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky' podcast, she explained: "There was a couple [of memes] that were about my body in 2013. People were putting my head on different, very unattractive things.
"I still see that when I put on a bathing suit to this day. I wear, you never would think, very modest bathing suits."
Miley went on to recall a vacation with friends and one of her sisters, who teased her about her "grandma" swimwear.
She said: "Everyone else had on a string bikini except me; I was in shorts. I don’t even know if people wear tankinis anymore. I was wearing like a tank top ...
"My sister goes: ‘You’re you, so this is cool. I guess this is in now. You’re making this cool. But, like, you know this is what a grandma wears to the beach'."
She added the comment made her reflect on her body image issues which she believes are linked to the trolling she suffered.
Miley said: "It just hit me, like oh, I’m still so insecure about those memes about my body ... "
During the podcast, Miley also admitted her raunchy image caused her relationships to "fall apart" because partners didn't like her sharing her "sexual expression" with the world.
Miley - whose engagement to Liam Hemsworth ended in 2013 before they reconciled three years later - said: "I lost everything during that time in my personal life because of the choices I was making professionally.
"If I kept dressing or acting a certain way, my relationships fell apart. No one wanted to date me because they didn't want to be with a woman [whose] sexual expression part was not for them. It was like shared with the world.
"So, like, guys, when I would try to date, when I was dating, or who I was engaged to at the time, that didn't work out because I was sharing a part of myself that men wanted to be saved for them only."
