Saoirse Ronan praises stylist for making red carpet appearances less 'stressful'
Saoirse Ronan stars in a new campaign for Louis Vuitton and has heaped praise on her personal stylist and the team behind the photo shoot.
Saoirse Ronan has praised her stylist Danielle Goldberg for making her red carpet appearances less “stressful”.
The Oscar-nominated actress, 30, has worked with the celebrity fashion guru – who has styled the likes of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and Olivia Rodrigo - for a while now and having someone she can trust to nail her outfits puts her at ease at glitzy bashes.
Speaking to ELLE UK about making her debut in a Louis Vuitton campaign – for which she was shot by Steven Meisel wearing looks from Nicolas Ghesquière’s SS25 collection – she said: "When you are lucky enough to have a brilliant stylist ... who just instantly gets you and knows how to bring out your essence through different styles and eras in fashion, it’s really exciting.
“It gives me the chance to relax somewhat while being in a stressful environment."
The ‘Blitz’ star loves the way the luxury French fashion brand’s clothes make her feel.
She said: “I feel very feminine, strong, chic and French [when wearing the brand].
“I like the fact that I’m part of a larger group of wonderful and talented beautiful women and men.”
On working with photographer Steven again for the first time since was a teenager, she said: “It was amazing to be shot by Steven. I haven’t worked with him since I was about 15 years old.
“He’s incredibly precise and clear in his vision and he knows when he has the shot.
“To have his gravitas as a photographer behind the campaign makes it feel all the more real and prestigious.”
The ‘Little Women’ star was unveiled as a brand ambassador for LV a year ago.
The iconic fashion house had been linked with the 'See How They Run' actress in the months leading up to the announcement, having been a guest of Ghesquière - the brand's artistic director of women’s collections - at the Academy Museum Gala in December 2023, while two months earlier she was on the front row for its spring 2024 show.
Ghesquière said: "I have admired Saoirse’s career for many years now; I find her totally captivating in the roles she plays.
“What’s more, behind her talent lies such a charming and bright person.”
