Kathryn Newton has joined J.Lindeberg as one of its first golf lifestyle ambassadors.

The 27-year-old actress is joining content creator Mia Baker on the campaign to represent the "diverse personalities shaping the modern golf community and its future".

Kathryn said in a statement: "I’ve always loved J.Lindeberg — on and off the golf course.

"Their designs feel as powerful, meticulous and dynamic as the game itself, and I couldn’t be more excited to officially join the family.

"Golf has always been a big part of my life, and now I get to share my passion for the sport and J.Lindeberg’s vision with even more people.”

The 'Big Little Lies' actress - who has also appeared in the likes of 'Abigail', 'Freaky' and 'Little Women' - has been playing golf since she was a child.

J.Lindeberg's CEO Hans-Christian Meyer praised her for bringing "a unique energy" to the brand as she combines "her success in Hollywood with her deep love for golf".

He added: "She embodies a modern, bold lifestyle that mirrors our brand’s mix of sports and fashion.

"Kathryn inspires us to challenge conventions and redefine what golf style can be for a new, dynamic audience.”

Golf content creator Mia, 30, is keen to make the sport more inclusive, having first started playing in 2019, when she struggled with "a multitude of physical barriers" and a lack of women's golf clothing.

She said: "Golf is about style, mentality, community, personality, and opening doors for people to discover what makes the sport so special and unique."

Mia noted that people like her can play a key role in "bridging the gap" between different levels of the sport.

She added: "I think fashion is such an important part of getting people started in golf and sport, with content creators bridging the gap between professionals and amateurs.”
