Nicholas Galitzine named as Emporio Armani's new fragrance ambassador
Nicholas Galitzine has been named as the new fragrance ambassador for Emporio Armani where he will feature in their 'Stronger With You' Parfum campaign later this month.
Nicholas Galitzine has been revealed as the new fragrance ambassador for Emporio Armani.
The 'Purple Hearts' actor will feature in Emporio Armani’s 'Stronger With You' Parfum campaign, which is being released later this month, as the company view him as the "perfect man" to showcase the "energy and strength" of the product.
Giorgio Armani - who is the CEO of Emporio Armani - said in a statement to WWD: “Nicholas is an actor of remarkable versatility.
“What strikes me most about him is his deep, intense and magnetic gaze. I see him as the perfect man to embody the energy and strength of this fragrance.”
Nicholas also revealed that he knew instantly that he wanted to be involved with the project and described Emporio Armani as having "class and elegance".
He said: “I have a huge affinity with the brand. So I just wanted to get in on the act.”
When speaking about which scents he is drawn to, the 30-year-old actor explained that he is most attracted to "warm, fiery and leathery scents".
He added: “I like touches of sweetness, but not an overwhelming sort of saccharine smell."
The shoot for the latest fragrance campaign took place in Bulgaria in what Nicolas decribed as “a sort of Berlin-esque-type club" and as part of the shoot, Nicholas had to dance to the 'Underworld' hit 'Born Slippy' for about 12 hours.
He said: “It was a really unique experience, because my main task for the campaign was to move and dance with a sense of freedom empowered by my crew around me and the feeling of the nightclub that we created.
“I don’t profess myself to be a dancer by any means, but it was just very freeing.
“And truthfully, I didn’t get tired of it. I’ve not had so much fun doing a shoot probably ever.”
