Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos say that their bedtime routine is “the least sexy thing”.

The couple, who tied the knot in 1996, have revealed they do not have a particularly glamorous way to end the day, as the TV presenter is usually “slimy” from her creams and retainer, while her husband can be found wearing nasal magnets to block out his snoring.

During an episode of ‘Live with Mark and Kelly’, the ‘Hope and Faith’ actress explained: “It’s great because the two of us, we come here to work and we’re like, ‘Oh, look at you, look at you.’ Because last night when we gave each other a kiss goodnight, I had my retainer in and I had all my creams on — like, I’m slimy.

“When I go to bed, you can slip right off me. I had my creams on and I had my retainer in. And then he’s got his nasal magnets on.”

Kelly continued: “We should do a taped piece of us just getting for bed, because it is - and I don’t want to brag - pretty much the least sexy thing I’ve ever seen.

“I’m not kidding, we used to be like, fairly…”

The ‘Riverdale’ star asked his wife: “Hot?”

To which she retorted: “Not the sexiest people, but we were hot for each other and things looked hotter.”

The couple recently celebrated their wedding anniversary by returning to Las Vegas’ the Chapel of the Bells where they married nearly 28 years ago.

Looking back on the big day, Kelly told PEOPLE: “It was really romantic, though. It was very sweet. We cherish those memories, still to this day.

“It's been 28 years and we still can remember every minute of that wedding. And I mean, it was really minutes. It was like two minutes!”

Mark then offered advice for those who wanted to discover their soulmates.

He said: “Find someone you can dream with.”
