Take That drop title track from new album Dreamers
Take That have announced their 10th studio album Dreamers, out November 20, with the title track released ahead of next summer’s major European tour.
Take That have confirmed the release of their 10th studio album Dreamers, arriving November 20.
The record includes recent singles You’re A Superstar, Sweet July and Feel My Love with Michael Patrick Kelly, alongside the newly issued title track Dreamers.
The announcement follows a busy year for the trio, who topped the Netflix charts with their self-titled documentary and performed to more than 700,000 fans across the UK and Ireland as they revived their ambitious 2009 Circus tour.
The band said the new album grew naturally from sharing ideas during a landmark year.
The trio - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - explained: “When we were making this album, our 10th as a band, we didn't set out to write something which reflected on our career together. However, in a year which has already been so incredible for us, what transpired when we started to share music and ideas was we had taken the best bits of what we’d learned as Take That and put it into these songs. We're very happy and proud of what we’ve created and we can't wait for everyone to hear it.”
The result, per a press release, is a "sparkly, energetic album laden with pop hits and inspired by disco, house and classic pop."
Take That will support the album with the Dreamers Tour, their biggest European run in years. The tour begins on June 3 in Switzerland and includes 31 shows across 16 countries, with dates in Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, France, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Spain, Italy and Austria. The run ends July 23 in Germany.
Dreamers features 12 tracks, including Wonderkids, Best Heartbreak, Higher, Who Do You Think You Are, Change of Season, My Love Is Yours, Saint and Masterpiece.
