Rosé has admitted she is not ready for a solo world tour.

The BLACKPINK star - whose Bruno Mars collaboration APT. is nominated for three Grammy Awards (Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop/Duo Performance) - wants to have at least two albums' worth of material in her arsenal before she steps out onto the global stage without her bandmates.

Rosé said on a special episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Alex Cooper Presents: A Grammy’s Special: "I feel like to create a whole world onstage, I need more time to build on that with extra songs as well, because right now we have, what 12?

“And I don’t feel ready to create a whole body of work for everyone yet.”

Asking her fans for patience, she continued: “I just want everyone to be patient because I feel like once I do start, I feel like I’d love it so much that I would want to do it for so long. So I don’t want to ruin that experience.”

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK are set to release the Deadline EP on February 27.

The K-pop girl group - completed by Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa - recently wrapped their world tour of the same name, which kicked off on July 5, 2025, at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea, and concluded on January 26, 2026, at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.

The girls sharing an emotional hug at the finale has gone viral, sparking theories BLACKPINK might go their separate ways.

The quartet focused on their solo careers following the release of their 2022 album Born Pink.

Lisa previously teased that they had been back in the studio working on new music for an album.

In an interview with Variety last May, the White Louts actress spilled: “Actually, we were in the studio a few days ago.

"We’re all so super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the Blinks. We can’t wait to see them."
