Olivia Dean has released her hotly anticipated second studio album, The Art of Loving.

Led by the soulful ballad So Easy (To Fall In Love) and the empowering message of self-worth, the album explores vulnerability and connection on intimate tracks such as Let Alone The One The Love, Loud, and Close Up.

The follow-up to 2023's critically acclaimed Messy also includes fan-favourites Nice To Each Other and Man I Need.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the album, Olivia shared: "I don’t think this is a cynical thing to say but I don’t think love is just magic that happens to you, I think you’ve got to put the time in, it’s a craft, it’s like playing an instrument or any other skill… I’m a romantic, hopelessly, hopelessly. And I suppose I’m trying to just bring a little bit of love, and loving, back into your life.”

Olivia recently revealed the new album is inspired by Sex And The City character Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker).

She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Bizarre column: "I’d never seen Sex And The City before, and started watching it from the beginning. I have been living my Carrie moment – her influence will be there."

Olivia also shared that she tackles relationship struggles on the record.

She shared: "Something In Between is about when you are between being with somebody and not, and you are like, ‘I don’t want to just have you in my life, like now we are not supposed to talk?’"

The 26-year-old neo-soul pop star's momentum continues to build. Earlier this year, she became the first British female artist since Adele to score three UK Top 10 singles. Man I Need also became the highest-charting UK song on Spotify’s Global Charts in 2025.

In addition to her studio achievements, Olivia recently announced her largest UK and European headline tour to date, set to begin in April 2026. The tour includes four sold-out shows at London’s iconic O2 Arena. This summer saw Olivia join Sam Fender on his UK tour and the pair performed their collaboration Rein Me In live at London Stadium.
