Drake is heading Down Under for the first time in eight years to bring his 'Anita Max Wynn Tour' to Australia.

The music star announced the news during an appearance on gaming streamer xQc’s livestream on Sunday night (24.11.24) revealing the tour will kick off in February and visit cities including Sydney and Melbourne.

He said: "February 9th for anybody that’s watching from Australia, I’m coming back to Australia for the first time in eight years. Coming back to Australia on tour. Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast … February 9 ’til like … March something."

The dates have yet to be officially revealed but the musician declared he might be visiting "other places" too.

He added: "Funny enough, it’s actually called the 'Anita Max Wynn Tour'."

The name is a nod to his alter ego which inspired a slew of internet memes.

Drake's visit to Australia will be his fist trip Down Under since his 'Boy Meets World Tour' in 2017 and the tour will kick off on the same day his rival Kendrick Lamar will perform the Super Bowl halftime show in the US.

Drake recently hinted about a return to Australia by sharing a picture of himself standing outside the Opera House in Sydney on Instagram and writing: "It’s been like 7 years."

During his appearance on the livestream, Drake also gave an update on his upcoming album with singer PartyNextDoor revealing the record is nearly finished.

He said: "Me and Party’s album is 75 per cent done shout out to PX cooking right now. Album sounds incredible …This album is good; it’s the sound that people know and love us for."
