Lulu has extended her farewell tour.

The 75-year-old pop icon announced in February that she was to hit the road one last time after 60 years in the business with a string of dates across the UK with her 'Champagne for Lulu' tour but after initially concluding the tour at the London Palladium in April, she has now added a further 10 dates to the tour and it will wrap up in late November.

She said: "60 years in the business! What an amazing journey it’s been, so many memories – wow! That’s why I’m going to make sure that my upcoming shows are a momentous celebration. "

The Eurovision legend - who won the annual song contest in 1969 with the 'Boom Bang-a-Bang' - promised fans that the shows will consist of all of her biggest hits and stories from her life in showbiz.

"And I promise to whip up one hell of a party, all the hits, my personal stories from behind the scenes, and of course I’ll be inviting some special guests onto the stage with me. Join me, it’s gonna be the party"

The 'Shout' hitmaker - who played herself in the 1990s sitcom 'Absolutely Fabulous' as a client of the hapless PR guru Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders) and has named her tour after a line from the series - will resume her tour in Torquay on 3 November before visiting a host of new venues across the UK and will play her final show in Southend-on-Sea on November 18.
