The former Take That star, 51, has revealed he is a big fan of Christmas and goes all out to spoil his wife Ayda Field and their four children, Theodora, Colette, Charlton and Beau, over the holidays but he never throws a big bash to mark his yearly milestone because he's convinced he is already "celebrated all the time" because of his job.
In an interview with The Sunday Times newspaper, he explained: "I absolutely adore Christmas. But I don’t get birthdays ... It is your day to be a celebrity, but I’m already a celebrity — so I get celebrated all the time. Birthdays are pointless for me."
Robbie added the couple have two Christmas trees at home and shower their children with gifts to "overcompensate for my needs not being met when I was growing up".
The singer also revealed he hires a chef to cook the family's Christmas dinner.
He went on to talk about his relationship with fame after spending years battling mental health issues as well as addiction back in the 1990s.
Robbie said: "We are told from an early age that fame and fortune is a salve to fix all, which is why I sought it. But actually it causes an existential crisis and I will be explaining my findings about that until the day I die. I’m a journalist, but with one subject: me."
He added of his drink and drugs spiral in the 1990s: "There were 18 months of acute alcoholism and addiction. And when I reached rock bottom, I got a spade and dug a basement. If I had carried on, I would have died.
"Look, the 1990s were a great time to have a bad time. The decades that followed were beige, but in the 1990s everybody was at it, from the radio plugger to the bin man.
"Hedonism was the north star to most people, but hedonism just made me fat."
It comes after Robbie revealed he's taking Mounjaro weight-loss jabs but he's convinced the drug is affecting his eyesight and he now finds it hard to see fans during his shows.
Robbie told The Sun newspaper: "I was quite an early adopter of the jabs but what I'm also noticing is that my eyesight's not very good.
"It's been blurry for a while now, and it's only getting worse.
"I don't believe it's age; I believe it's the jabs. I went to an American football game the other night and the players were just blobs on a green field in front of me. And I was like, 'What the f*** is happening?'
"And on my most recent tour, there's this thing I do where I sing She's The One to a girl every night.
"Basically, I was looking in the direction of these women looking up at me, having this experience that's quite obviously incredible to them, and little do they know I can't see them."
The Angels singer continued: "I've been to the optician about it but didn't mention the Mounjaro as I hadn't made the connection then.
"My prescription's changed, and I had to buy a whole new load of glasses.
"Everybody's experiencing it, because I'll say to people, 'Blurry, right?'. And they go, 'Oh s***, that's the thing?'
"Of course it's worrying and by being honest today, obviously I want to warn people reading this of the potential risks, to make sure they do their research. "But seriously, I'm that sick I'd probably stay on it until the sight in one eye has completely gone."
