Elsie Hewitt reflects on motherhood after welcoming baby with Pete Davidson
Elsie Hewitt has shared an emotional reflection on becoming a mom after welcoming daughter Scottie with her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Elsie Hewitt has emotionally reflected on becoming a mom days after she and boyfriend Pete Davidson welcomed their first child into the world.
The 29-year-old model and the 32-year-old comedian-and-actor took to Instagram on December 18 to announce that Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson was born on December 12.
On Saturday (20.12.25), Elsie took to her Instagram Stories, where she shared her amazement at starting a family with the former Saturday Night Live cast member.
Writing over a selfie of herself, she penned: "To all the moms do u also just sit and stare at your baby and cry at how much you love them and can't believe it's yours and that your body made this perfect thing and u don't even know how to handle how in love u are so u just start crying. (sic)"
And Elsie has been overcome with a wave of emotions since Scottie - whose first name is a sweet tribute to Pete's late dad, Scott Davidson, a New York City firefighter who died during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at the age of 33 - arrived on December 12.
Captioning a cute photo carousel of shots, which captured her and Pete bonding with the newborn, and their first days as parents, Elsie wrote on December 18: "Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025 scottie rose hewitt davidson. (sic)"
And she declared giving birth to her and Pete's beautiful bundle of joy as her "best work yet", before adding: "I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief."
The caption ended with a comment from Pete, which read: "wu tang forever. (sic)"
But all was not a smooth process, as the day after Scottie was born, Elsie had to get her wisdom tooth extracted.
She shared a selfie of her swollen face with a gauze notable - with Scottie visible in the background in her car seat - on December 18, and wrote over the shot: "Who else had to get a wisdom tooth removed directly from hospital the day after they gave birth. (sic)”
A source told People of her wisdom tooth extraction: "Elsie is doing really well now and feeling so much better since having the tooth taken care of.
"It was an unexpected hiccup right after the delivery, but she handled it like a champ and has been focused on resting and soaking in these first moments with the baby."
Elsie and Pete are now "settling into a rhythm" of parenting.
The insider explained: "Being home has been really special for them.
"They're settling into a rhythm, taking everything day by day and just enjoying getting to know their daughter. It's been a lot of firsts, but it's a really happy, exciting time for both of them."
And the couple - who went public with their romance in March - are supporting each other through the challenges of parenthood.
The source shared: "They've very much in it together. They've both learning as they go, supporting each other and feeling grateful as they step into this new chapter as parents."
