Carlos Alcaraz loved getting to practice with his hero Roger Federer recently.
The Spanish tennis star enjoyed a light hit with the retired Swiss icon in Shanghai last month and relished the "unbelievable experience" of being on court with the 20-time Grand Slam champion.
Alcaraz told Eurosport: "It was an unbelievable experience for me. Having the chance to play with him, it was great. I just enjoyed so much, every shot, watching him playing the shots so easily. It was a dream. It was a great experience.
"I had the chance to talk a lot with him, ask him some questions about when he was playing. It was a masterclass honestly from him."
Alcaraz has made a winning start to his Paris Masters campaign but admits that he will need some time to adapt to the court in the French capital as he looks to win the tournament for the first time.
The world number two said: "Well I don't have too much experience playing on the court, my game suits pretty well here because of how aggressive I play. I never practiced here before, I didn't play too much tournaments here before, so I have to get used to it.
"The calendar is so demanding as well, so coming to the last tournament of the year, probably I've been really tired.
"Hopefully it's not gonna happen again. I am fresh, excited, I have a lot of confidence. I think it's gonna be different.
"I understand a little bit about how to play in these last tournaments, so I think I'll do a bit better."
